Seems like an excellent argument for why Congress should have taken care to write a statute on the subject that didn't violate the Constitution.https://twitter.com/HowardMortman/status/1315644247006158849 …

Pretty convenient that the only plan that can pass muster in a GOP SCOTUS can't pass muster in a GOP Congress
A good argument for court packing, thanks Dan.
That’s what the GOP means by ‘better’
The piece doesn't get to Jindal's plan until about 3/4 of the way through, and with good reason. It's garbage. It would cut access and create a race to the bottom. Block grant Medicaid, allow insurance to be sold across state lines, and high risk pools. Garbage.
Yeah, the pre-existing conditions pool would surely have reasonable premiums, especially in red states
Ah yes, Jindal’s ill-fated plan. You know why it wasn’t a viable option, right? Because @HouseGOP refused to fund high-risk coverage pools.
Here’s a more up to date article on “serious @GOP efforts to replace the #ACA”:https://theintercept.com/2017/09/27/lindsey-graham-on-obamacare-repeal-i-had-no-idea-what-i-was-doing/ …
Dan you wrote this in 2014...why couldn't Republicans do this when they held the house and senate?
Allow me to lmfao. “There are plans” that cannot be revealed, during 10 sustained years of ripping apart one plan that exists
This garbage can't even be considered a plan.
Oh you mean the crackpot "let everyone in the high risk pool die" plan. Lovely.
