Just curious but has any top Senate Democrat actually proposed court packing? Schumer? Durbin? DiFi? If not, why should Biden or Harris be required to give a definitive answer as to whether they support a wholly speculative idea just because Republicans are terrified of it?

I don’t understand why it’s such a big deal. The new standard seems to be to proofread the constitution the way tax lawyers do the tax code, and if it isn’t outright barred you do it.

Markey is the only current Senator to explicitly support court packing in 2020. Some floated the idea in early 2019 as part of their Presidential runs (including Harris). All of them failed as Presidential nominees too...
