If you're going to defend every abuse of power from McConnell and Trump on the grounds that it's constitutional (and then trot out some historical footnote like stats on a 1933 baseball card), then Democrats get to do it too. Sorry Dan.

I’m good with adding 10 more justices next year, and doubling the number of federal courts. Make The Turtle scream.

The emerging conservative defense of the Electoral College is that "if something is in the Constitution , it can't be bad or dangerous" is...not borne out by the history of things included in the Constitution.

If you're going to defend Mitch violating his hypocritical "Garland" rule then don't cry if there are consequences. Even before Justice Ginsburg passed, I had no problem with PR becoming independent or a state.

Where was this perspective when McConnell blocked Obama's nomination of Merrick Garland? The right could have used a voice of reason then...

Y’all threw out the prudential argument 2 weeks ago. ‘If you’ve got the power, use it’ is the new reality - and you’ve got the GOP Senate to thank for it.

Modern “Conservative” philosophy in a nutshell. Break the system & rebuild it simultaneously - act “shocked” when the other party discusses doing the same. Not a good faith argument. Pointless to get mad at.
