Are we back to pretending that Obama has some sort of record as a great writer who penned all his own speeches?https://twitter.com/dsupervilleap/status/1307014983096709121 …

The 768-page book is the most anticipated presidential memoir in memory, as much or more because of the quality of the writing than for any possible revelations. Obama has been called the most literary president since Abraham Lincoln. https://apnews.com/e408908a74543cf3e4eaf4315cfbdedc …

        2. Strongly suspect that, like JFK, someone besides Obama wrote most of Dreams of My Father. Wouldn't surprise me if it was Bill Ayers.

I still would like to read it (and most presidential memoirs). George Bush’s ‘Decision Points’ gave insight to him and his character. Hoping 44’s does the same. I am concerned that this 750+ page work is only ‘volume one’, though.

The sorts of people who like Obama rhetoric are the exact sorts of people who will never stop looking down on Grant.

Are you implying "Dreams of My Father" was ghost written? As for the former president's memoir, if it matches "Becoming" it will do ok. However, very few presidential memoirs have a long shelf life, minus Grant's

I remain skeptical of his authorship, for a variety of rational reasons ranging from the timeline to the fact that it sounds nothing like how he talks or things he's written before or since. We've seen many, many, many politician books ghostwritten.
