Why does it have to be so hard to offer honest criticism? Why?

Agree. Does Barr believe that Lockdowns were worse than internment of Japanese Americans during WW2?

Having to wear a mask is not a greater violation of civil rights than locking up American citizens in a concentration camp because they ancestors were from Japan.

By mentioning slavery he's putting in peoples minds that the 2 are somehow close. If I mention the holocaust in relation to, well anything a persons immediate thought will be this thing is really bad. Japanese internment camps apparently weren't all that bad compared to, MASKS!

He didn’t compare anything to masks
. He was talking about the lockdowns. - Show replies

It's neither silly nor wrong, in terms of the scope, duration, and impact on citizens per capita.

i think as a matter of common sense, no one should invoke slavery when comparing or analogizing any claim for which they are trying to make a point no matter what, all people are going to hear is "slavery" and then the rest goes out the window

This is like some kind of weird Rorschach test. Barr literally brought up the restraint of “slavery” when discussing the restraint of lockdowns.
