TA lot depends on what sort of a vaccine it is and what it does. I.e. there has been some discussion that the first vaccine out of the gate may just mitigate the impact, not provide strong, long-lasting immunity. My hunch is he’s referring to that possibility. We have no idea

Until Phase 3 trials are done what we’ll actually have a vaccine capable of doing. You’re 100% right in the long term. But whether that’s the case in the short term seems a more open question.
