One of the ironies of the Bush years is that the "good" war, in Afghanistan, is the one we lost. In Iraq, at least, we got everything we went to war for: Saddam's regime is gone, & every threat it posed is gone with it. In Afghanistan, Al Qaeda's partners will return to the govt.
