The constant challenge with Donald Trump is to remain aware of his manifest personal flaws, and avoid sliding into denial or amnesia - but not constantly obsess over telling people things everybody already knows about him.

You haven't been made aware of the things the left wing of the party says about Biden? You are truly living in a bubble.

Doesn't that mean your overall argument boils down to "well, we can't fix the system, so let's choose the guy that will continue breaking it most in our favor"? You accept how ultimately destructive that line of thinking is?

Nope. But he frightens me less. That's what it comes down to. I find Trump frightening. I don't think Biden would make a Putin-style power grab. I think Trump might. All the old fearmongering about the left now leaves me numb in the face of this very real danger.

Telling people to vote twice, for me, was the final straw. I had no intention of casting anything but a protest vote up until that point. Now, I may hold my nose and vote Biden, just to help make the result lopsided and stave off the street violence that Trump will try to spark.
