At what point do we wrestle with the fact that overturning Roe v Wade will likely not have the overwhelming impact on decreasing abortion that it has been marketed to have? Abortions have been declining for decades no matter which party holds power

for the record, democrats do this too. "we will protect Roe v Wade" vs "We will overturn Roe v Wade" are two sides of the same lackluster talking point when it comes to actually decreasing unplanned, unwanted pregnancies that result in abortions.

Can you elaborate here? Are the Democrats so bad and their ideas so dangerous and our system so weak that elevating a Democrat as President will do irreparable damage? This seems to go beyond policy disagreement and into a world where half the country’s voters are dangerous

I’m sure you’d roll your eyes at the argument that electing a generic Republican President would destroy our democratic system and rule of law. So why make the same argument about the Dems? Are the ideas of the average Democrat that inimical to our system of government?
