So is your view that a voter who votes for person x is responsible for every bad foreseeable action y that person x takes, even if he votes for person x due to unrelated reason z? I'm trying to discern the neutral principle here.

Yes. I mean, you don't choose each bad thing, but you accept that one package is better - or less bad - than the alternative, and make that choice knowing it.

I think reasonable people can disagree about who poses the greater danger: four more years of unaccountable Trump and the party that supports everything he does, or four years of Biden and the Democrats.

Biden will not be held accountable by his own party any more than Obama or Clinton were. We both know that.

As for the notion that Biden is a man of poor character, I agree. But that's like saying it's wrong to refuse to drink a pool's worth of water but agree to drink a glass of water because they're both water.
