The constant challenge with Donald Trump is to remain aware of his manifest personal flaws, and avoid sliding into denial or amnesia - but not constantly obsess over telling people things everybody already knows about him.

you're aware there's an election coming up, and many Americans don't seem aware that Trump is malignant and incompetent, and maybe a bit mentally incapable? so that's why people are talking so much about it.
-
if it were near-univerally recognized that Trump was a horrible mistake, we wouldn't talk about it all the time. but would you believe people are thinking about affirmatively voting for him to be President?

And if he is voted out, he won't be. Either vote is a choice. If you want to tar Biden voters with his policies, I can tar Trump voters with everything bad he has ever done. (I think neither is fair, and that people may vote Biden for reasons other than policy differences.)
-
Oh, I agree. In either case, you are affirmatively choosing to harm the nation; if you choose neither, you're choosing to be indifferent between the two.

I've always said: some vote Trump due to policy with their eyes wide open about his personal failings and what that means to the country. OK, so why can't someone vote Biden due to character, with their eyes wide open to his policy? Are Trump voters to blame for all he does?
-
Well, you're also then casting a character-based vote for a man of poor character, with decades as a chronic fabulist. Either way, you own both. And the Democrats represent a systemic threat to the American way that runs way deeper in their party than just the man at the top.
