As a kid, I loved Richard Scarry's Busy Busy World. Read it to my kids, too. Does it rely on some stereotypes? Sure. But it's good for kids to understand that the world is full of different ways of life.

I adore Richard Scarry, still have all the old books I had as a small child, and they will get them when they pry them away from my cold, cold hand. That said, the pig cannibalism is a subtly persisting and unnerving theme.pic.twitter.com/IZbmw4nE5N
