        That's a rough one. The '69 series was right in the peak of my baseball fandom. Mets & Orioles, two incredible pitching staffs. RIP Tom. They never came much better.

        Saw him pitch on a bitterly cold opening day at Shea vs. Phils, 4/5/83. Pitched a gem in his grand return to the Amazin's. What a thrill it was. It was the only game I ever saw him pitch in person. Farewell, George Thomas Seaver.
