The conservative movement really could use the cleansing fire of a humiliating defeat. The hard question is how much of the country you're prepared to burn down to get that.
I'm not arguing for that. I'm arguing that you can't separate the two, which is why you *shouldn't* want to burn down the movement or the party even for all their flaws.

Wishing for a "humiliating defeat" means to hand over the reins of this nation to the hard left, and if they win the Senate and do away with the filibuster Republicans are powerless to stop anything. THAT could destroy what's left of our economy and frankly, our country.

Biden's the old-school 'aw shucksy' politician that was selected so that old white folks would be less scared of a ticket that had Barack Hussein Obama on the top of it. To think that electing him would hand the reins to the hard left frankly shows how hard right you've become.
