Was wondering if any of Babe's Yankee teammates would have still been there on Babe Ruth Day? I knew DiMaggio didn't come up until 1936. Had to look it up...Frankie Crosetti's last season as a player was 1948, though he only played sparingly, was mostly a coach.

Just Crosetti. Dickey, Ruffing, Murphy, the young guys on the Babe's last teams were all gone. Dixie Walker was still active in 1948, had played briefly with the Babe in 1934, but was not a Yankee.
