Gonna watch The Dawn Treader movie. Should be interesting because even though I read all the Narnia books I just don't really recall this one at all.

In a scene in AH&HB, they’re walking across a desert. The Boy complains that he’s thirsty and says (paraphrasing), “You’d think Aslan would know we’d get thirsty.” And the Horse replies “sometimes he likes to be asked.” That’s the best justification I’ve ever heard for prayer.

Lewis was Anglican, BTW. Tolkien was the Catholic in that pairing. My favorite is The Final Battle, Dawn Treader is second. Horse is tough to judge because it’s completely outside the rest of the storyline. I can understand why it’s either a person’s favorite (or least).
