Oh, so we are back to opposing Executive Actions again. Where was this four days ago?

In the pages of National Review.

She's not wrong about Congress (see McConnell's desk), but of course most of us "normies" do not advocate extending the use of the EO. Good leaders figure out how to reach across the aisle.
-
Agreed entirely, but Congress has truly abdicated its responsibilities. No Exec overreach, but no Congressional action either - where does that leave us? I suppose it's on us to start electing congressmen who promise to re-empower the Legislature.

Yeah not good. But you expect us to be outraged after both parties have allowed their Presidents to do exactly this for the past 12 years?
-
And btw, if Congress really was serious about reasserting its authority, a little oversight and backbone during the past 4 years might have helped.

A bill sat on McConnells desk for weeks. It could have been debated and amended or replaced weeks ago. “Congress” didn’t do this. Conservatives love to break things and then rail against it being broke.

Wow. More days given than Trump did. An issue comes up for him, he just invents Constitutional justification & signs EO's like Christmas cards. Then "conservatives" that cried about Obama's EO's being wrong just turn away or cheer loudly with each passing Trump EO.
