I mean, "play the games" or "don't play the games" are legitimate arguments, but let's not pretend this is not a very, very big deal to Ben Sasse's constituents.

Also senators can do more than one thing at a time, and Ben Sasse can't do anything about COVID-19 by himself except cast votes and draft legislation. He isn't the surgeon general.
