Ur stating something I never did. Plenty of white folks were “sat down” as you say. Standing for liberty isn’t relegated to Black or white. On that we agree. My point is that when the face is black or brown, the idea of that person being remembered as a patriot isn’t consistent.

As an example of this I can take many of the rebellions you mention above...whiskey included. There are monuments to those folks. Holidays even for some. Yet for the plethora of Black folks that stood against tyranny...you only have but one...and he’s pretty modern, MLK

I agree today is not the day for Revolution. But I also know the historical record...that when that day does come, without some demographic shift (which is happening) if those voice screaming for liberty are black and brown...they’ll mostly be ignored or deemed marxits.
