Haha. Yes blame the left. Remind me again, who boycotted the NFL last few seasons?

They've also won when they can march through every institution unopposed, when their temper tantrums result in policy changes and submission in these institutions. Ignoring the problem or disengaging entirely are not the only options available.

But it's THEM that are shoving it down my throat. All I want is to watch a damn ballgame without being inundated with CRT/I, Woke, and BLM(tm) propaganda.

Yes, technically it's THEY who are shoving it down my throat. When I get excited, my southern dialect comes back out.

1. The personal is political. The anthem before a game, jet flyovers etc, are political acts, even if we claim they are apolitical. 2. Watching people who hate you throw a ball isn't a "life well-lived." Might as well claim watching porn means you have a robust love life.

A few years ago I lost interest in ESPN because they became too political. Then I lost interest in the NFL. Same reason. But my passion has always been Baseball. Not saying I won’t watch any, but really not as interested as before. Not boycotting anything, just lost interest.

Politics is intrinsic to human society—assume you’ve read your Aristotle on this. On a quotidian level, some people have the luxury of not thinking about it constantly, but many others don’t. It depends on how much power they have and whether they are actors or being acted upon.
