Of course, Barnes' 340 plate appearances project to 918 over a 162 game schedule. Don't think anybody is playing at that velocity in 2020, much less batting .431/.465/.616.

Billy Hamilton in 1895 was the last player to average 5 plate appearances per game in a full season (or even a season of > 8 games). Hamilton hit .392/.502/.513, avgd 847 PA, 228 R, 100 RBI, 270 H, 138 BB, 115 SB per 162 games played from 1893-95.https://stathead.com/tiny/Ddk4m
