Yeah, it's clear that Biden has lost a step, it's just possibly self-defeating for Trump to keep talking about it. Ike was clearly a little diminished in 1956 (post-stroke), Reagan was in 1984. Hurt them in polls a bit but they recovered - and both had much younger challengers.

Neither of those races was close, either. I'm not sure how fully aware the voters were of Ike's health. Reagan's age was much discussed, but a strong second debate performance dispelled it.

Imagine if this election was Trump vs a coherent vigorous Dem, or Biden vs a coherent vigorous Republican.

What denial? It’s no contest. The criminal mismanagement of the Covid crisis has left us no choice.Predictions of 300,000 deaths by year's end.4 million infections today and Trump still has no plan.Dented tomato can would be an improvement.

I did not support Biden in primary & continue to voice concerns over him as they arise, but absurd to (1) compare President Trump's severe mental decay to Biden's continued gaffes (2) accuse Democrats of partisan denial while Republicans have cult-like support for Trump.
