How so? Major crimes by and against Indians have to be prosecuted in federal court, right? Minor crimes would be prosecuted in tribal court?
So basically it only affects prosecution of Indians in the territory?
Gorsuch basically suggested that the US Attorney start poaching people from the Oklahoma state’s attorneys offices.
Doesn't the decision mean Indian cases have to be tried in federal court, rather than state court? Wouldn't that increase the federal caseload, if anything?
