Yeah. FDR also freaked out when A. Phillip Randolph wanted to march on Washington in 1941, although he did give Randolph some of what he wanted.
I don’t think that’s what people are disagreeing with policy-wise. Something about the government use of force on the individual. God, our country would be so much better if we just listened to the other side’s actual narrative. Same w/ Trump.
