While I understand your point, MLB is the same league who puts on a grand show parting themselves on the back for honoring Jackie Robinson while simultaneously publicly wringing their hands about the drop in the amount of black players in the game.

Those who excel in sports, on & off field, have done so by giving sports an excessive level of attention in their lives. If they want to speak out, great, but no one should wait to take cues from people who have spent their whole lives practicing games or learning roster mgmt
