I get it, he wants to have a good case & charge it right, but I can almost guarantee negligent homicide is there. I have never, in over 26 years of being an LEO, seen any training where anything to do with the neck is authorized. I hope that was not in their training to do so.

It appears to be there but maybe not in the way it was used in the video. Considering that two other officers were on Floyd pressure on his neck may not be the issue. http://www.minneapolismn.gov/police/policy/mpdpolicy_5-300_5-300 …pic.twitter.com/pWCDg9dHRu

This is clearly a federal civil rights case and Barr should announce federal charges. That is why the statutes exist.

That almost seems designed to incite. If there is evidence that changes what, to all appearances, is a murder on camera, then the public has a right to know.

it could be the fact three men were on him and there's no direct proof yet it was the officer on his neck that caused his death. honestly the two others on his back could have been the reason he couldn't breathe leading to his death

Ferguson, ironically enough, demonstrated how to handle the situation when charges were not warranted. I don't know all the facts in this case, but the facts must remain paramount.

I cannot fathom what it would be. Did Floyd bite down on a false tooth with a cyanide capsule?

And all of this doesn't even begin to explain why there has been no arrest when an arrest only requires probable cause.
-
Because as a prosecutor, your goal is to bring a case that results in convictions.
