The latter was the original theory for investigating Flynn, but the FBI had run out of arguments to keep it going, which is why it fell back on the never-enforced Logan Act as the fig leaf for the interview. Wrong, but for the sake of argument say he'd only violated Logan - should it not be enforced? Got any other federal laws you'd like to see not enforced? Where does it end & who decides? It's pretty laughable that you're the residue of the self-proclaimed Rule of Law party.
