Debatable whether it’s outside the ethics of comedy...

What's not debatable is Kimmel's claim to be a comedian. He's not.

The problem is that liberals view people like Kimmel and Stewart as trusted news sources. Means they’re no longer just comedians.
-
It means no such thing. I’m liberal and I do not watch comedians for “news”. None of my liberal friends passed around the clip as “news”. In fact, I only learned about it from conservative outrage treating it as “news” in order to “debunk” it.

Danny, you know that this goes on on both sides, don’t you? Call out one side, but also call out the other side also. I can see this from Ireland, surely you can too.

Sorry this isn’t true unless the doctored video is an obvious fake. Have you seen how many folks ran with this on Twitter as true? Kimmel deserves the shade he is getting for this

All these guys are getting exposed without audiences. They can’t hide behind the ironic ha ha’s anymore.

If he was known just to be a comedian. Kimmel routinely takes the clown nose on and off when it suits him.

Can't help but also think about those "pranks" police pull on hapless citizens where they pull people over on the road for no reason and then "reward" them with a coupon for an ice cream or something. Imagine being in a hurry or running late and having this happen?
