I’m still unsure about the theories that population density and mass transit creates a hotbed that we won’t see in rural areas. Other illnesses don’t seem to discriminate.

Uh...what? Now there will surely be delay and rural areas will be effected but transmission and mutation certainly are much higher in dense populations.
