It was a law passed by Congress. And Obama was definitely the only President to ever sign a law that got overturned by the Supreme Court.

I believe obama complied with that ruling which was about a law Congress wrote. There are better examples of Obama's runaway vision of executive authority. Daca is probably closer fit here tbh

Certainly it was unfortunate that Congress imposed a law on Obama that he neither asked for nor wanted, nor defended in court, nor hectored the judiciary to uphold.
