Coming from Oregon, where vote-by-mail has been around for some form since the '80s, the opposition to it comes off as transparently dumb and/or malicious.

As an Oregonian, this is decidedly not my impression given the various allegations of voter fraud and people mistakenly receiving extra ballots at their homes I've heard over the years.

Problem here is just because voter fraud isn't being prosecuted or uncovered, doesn't mean it's not occurring. I don't think fraud is occurring on some mass scale -- just think the problem is bigger than people say and moving to mail-in everywhere will incentivize bad behavior.
