So interesting! I’m a generally a lucid dreamer so mine are always pretty vivid/wild (kind of like playing a video game)...welcome to the party folks!

So the thing about being a lucid dreamer is your dreams are super vivid, but you also almost always know you are dreaming...I can regularly wake up, realize that dream was fun, and go back to sleep to finish it out like a tv episode. It’s pretty fun haha

When I was in graduate school, I had a run of nights with nightmares, and learned that thing you can do about intervening in your own dreams so that you remember you're dreaming. I don't know how to tell others to do it, but it's a thing that can be done.

We can get into speculative territory pretty quickly, but dreams are clearly part of the area of the human mind that science has yet to fully unlock.
