A statistic that will be interesting to track this year is all-cause mortality. How many Americans die each year, for any reason, and how do this year's numbers track? Fewer traffic fatalities due to stay-at-home orders? More deaths from untreated heart attacks or strokes?

I’m an ER nurse. Accidents are still present. But we are out of vents. One bad traffic crash and a person needing a vent dies. One case a person’s heart cath was cancelled due to covid closing outpatient offices. Day after cancelled appt and medics couldn’t revive them via CPR.
