I'd be more willing to blame Trump here if he told people to go out and take whatever form of this stuff they could find. I've seen no examples of him saying anybody should do that, as opposed to exaggerating what health professionals were saying about using this as a treatment.

No, this shifts the argument. I'm not talking about blame now. I am talking about what her donations have to do with her story. Do we now think she *made up* having heard Trump say this? We all heard him say it. Did she off her husband deliberately as a pro-Dem stunt? I say no.

Different tactic: Trump's words clearly have weight with some. See: Cesar Sayoc. In a country of 350 million, it's safe to assume that not everyone works from the same level of sanity as you and me.
