We need to accept the reality that data & modeling are useful but flawed & full of uncertainties, which can cut in both directions. Neither should be treated as inarguable "facts." We work with the best information we have, & we need to remind ourselves it's estimates. https://twitter.com/EWErickson/status/1244671330856906756 …

I have heard that Covid 19 is being noted as cause of death even when the original ailment was say a stroke but patient showed symptoms of covid 19. Numbers are not going to be accurate. So sad!

There are going to be many deaths that are caused by covid that will eventually be counted: People who needed medical care but couldn't get it bc the system is overloaded now; people who relapse into addiction and overdose or commit suicide.

I’d like to know how many people died of it and the cause of death was strategically identified as a flu or something else.

As far as I’ve been able to find out, if a patient dies and had coronavirus, it’s counted as a coronavirus death. Coronavirus may or maybe not not be the cause. It Italy, they found that only 12% of those listed as dead from coronavirus actually died from complications of it.

6000 Americans die of the "regular" flu each month on average during the 6 month flu season, I get this is more serious because medically we don't have a solution, but things are out of control thanks to the media

Yeah dude... it’s called MCC and is used in every DRG calculation. Why do you think anyone who has done this not trying to control others, like healthcare workers, have been calling BS since the start, domestically
