The unfilled jobs are due to a variety of factors - difficulty of working for Trump, lack of hiring urgency, blackballing Trump critics, Senate delays, investigations. Some are Trump's fault, some not. But telling good people to stay away has costs at times like these.

Agreed, but the bigger impediment is that if anyone is actually good at their job, then the higher up they are, the more likely Trump is to get rid of them (b/c he'd rather have a loyalist who does whatever he says).

True (but he also easily gets rid of terrible people, like Bannon). I don't blame people for not wanting the jobs. I do say that if people are willing to do them, we should not be pressuring them to turn those jobs down.
