Congrats to everyone who pounded the table the past four years for "good people should refuse to work for the Trump Administration."https://twitter.com/RadioFreeTom/status/1243207018472751112 …

The essential fallacy of "don' t work for Trump" is that refusing to work for Trump will make him somehow just go away. But he's still responsible for running the executive branch for his full, elected term. It might have important responsibilities right now.

Look,
@RadioFreeTom & I won't see eye to eye on this, but my question is simple: would we be better off with more good, competent people pursuing jobs in this Administration? If the answer is yes, then scolding people to avoid those jobs is bad advice.Show this thread -
My longstanding view is that the country benefits from more good public servants no matter who is president. The executive branch's responsibilities go far beyond the president. They can't just be turned off for 4 years.

Great example, but ominous ending. So sure trump still gets re-elected?

If the choice is between Trump and Biden, at least Trump knows what office he is running for and can speak without a teleprompter.

Amused that you chosen picture of Dr. Fauci to prove your point, considering he’s already being muzzled for speaking up and will probably be fired soon.

That is a picture of him speaking *Tuesday*
