The funny thing Dan is this is a Fairway. Fairway is bankrupt meaning they are on COD. If they don’t pay their bills, they don’t get deliveries. Fairway is an exemption but the Stamford location today was re-stocking already.

Actually, no. In socialism these shelves will get restocked based on what the central planners decide you need. In capitalism the store owners will order more and sell that. I went to the store today and while they didn't have everything many of my favorites were on sale.

The difference if the Capitalist stores are working to refill their shelves daily as increased demand has caused them to increase their daily deliveries. The Socialist store would be waiting for their next allotment based on the requirements of the current 5 year plan.

Exactly. And socialism, in its crudest form, requires the use of force -or the threat of that- to be maintained, just like in East Germany and the entire Eastern Bloc, and Chile, and Cuba...
