Trump's job approval rating is 44.3 in the RCP average today. He can win the Electoral College if he gets that to 47. But if he doesn't, he's probably going to lose.

I think he has to bring Biden down, he has limited room to get himself up. A huge amount of the bullish case for Trump's re-election depends on a booming economy & an opposing party tearing itself apart. Both of those look...more questionable than they did three weeks ago.

That’s it: he’s a familiar name; almost a Generic Democrat...whom if you’re in any way displeased with Trump, you consider voting for. Trump will nuke him. Also, the number of Trump ‘16 voters likely to switch is almost certainly tiny. Biden only wins if non-16 voters vote him.
