The candidate with the least rationale to still be in the race is Tulsi Gabbard. Whatever her reasons for running in the first place, she has zero delegates, 1.8% of the popular vote so far, 2.4% in national polling, & isn't on the debate stage anymore.

I don't see what prospect Gabbard has to get delegates anywhere soon, at least from any jurisdiction big enough to be polled (I don't count out, say, the American Samoa caucus on Super Tuesday). Hawaii doesn't even vote until April.

I read that as the "least rational" candidate still in the race. I'm no Gabbard supporter but I was willing to dispute that point.

I mean, her big billboards are still up in NH, so I figure she's in it for the long haul.

Oh, there’s a rationale, all right. It’s just that it has nothing to do with getting elected.

What is it? I can't see what staying in *now* accomplishes.

There are two good reasons, the first being brand recognition. Whatever she plans to do next she wants people to know who she is. Second, if Bernie needs to drop out (health reasons most likely) she would actually have a shot at the grand prize

Clearly, you haven't seen Gabbard do push-ups.
