Oh, it can get much worse. All the news coverage between now and the SOTU will focus on this partial result, with "Buttigieg Wins" the takeaway. If we learn at midnight that Bernie is the actual winner I'm not sure how the DNC ever regains the trust of the Bernie Bros.

I agree! We Americans should remember that Iowa is tiny and not particularly representative of our overall population. I am not surprised a small state would give Mayor Pete outsize influence; Iowans probably have a bias toward small-town types.
