If the electoral problems are particular to the caucus system, which they appear to be (I might be wrong on that), then it's not that obvious. I could also be taking tweets too literally.

Bush lost popular vote by over 500k and won FL by like 500. Seems like that example shows why small margin in dispute would have less impact, not more.
