After learning about caucuses on Wikipedia today, I have to agree with you. Lots of people don't like conflict or noise. But maybe in Iowa, there's not much else to do in the winter?

I love them. The people who really care who their party nominates giving up their evenings to meet with their neighbors, explain their choice, and defend it. Your vote here is so much more powerful than your vote in November.

From my experience in caucuses in
#Minnesota , they put a higher emphasis on the extreme activists for both parties. Primaries are more representative of each party.
