My dad's generation watched World War II newsreels in the theater while the war was still happening. They also did not need this explained.

My generation used our dad's captured German helmet or bloodied Japanese flag for show and tell in elementary school.

Took my great grandfather's bayonet, gas mask, & helmet from WW1 to show & tell.

Am perfectly willing to have the discussion about the governmental process of this strike. If we should be withdrawing from the region, etc... But the moral "confusion" is odd, especially why is it now more morally incorrect than any other time over the last 20 years?

My generation grew up watching reruns of M*A*S*H. Hawkeye Pierce gave us all the explanation we needed.pic.twitter.com/HfnZH9ufZL

We watched Little Radcals, Looney Toons and Tom and Jerry reruns then as well. So not exactly sure what we were supposed to be learning. Likewise plenty of movies of the time would lead you to believe killing native Americans was a good thing too.
