The biggest market opportunity that hardly anybody is pursuing is information technology geared to the needs of old people. It's not glamorous, but most of the phone/laptop/web/social media market ignores how older users - people not ready for Jitterbug phones - want to use tech.
Wait until the 70 year olds are 80 year olds and all the stuff they know today is obsolete.

There is a small market, one that is mined by Jitterbug and the like. But improvements in voice technology are going to make inroads on that, too. Again, there is a market, it just isn't a growth market IMHO.

I hang out with mostly people in the 65-90 age range. While they are high-functioning (bridge players) they are not unrepresentative of the higher income range of that demographic. Almost all are facile with smart phones. Most problems are health problems.
