Three things about Travolta. First, he would have had a much better career had his penchant for turning down great projects (Officer and a Gentleman, Splash) and accepting terrible projects (Moment by Moment, Perfect) become Hollywood legend.

Second, the greatest thing to happen to Travolta was Tarantino, who not only revived his career with a masterpiece, Pulp Fiction, but guided him toward projects (Broken Arrow, Get Shorty) that gave him a great 2nd act. (This last decade I can’t explain.)
