Vaccines do work. The question is who should make the decision for a kid to have them: the parent or the state.

Who should make decisions on a child's healthcare, period? Does that mean parents should be able to neglect their child's health? Because that's what that is, in addition to public health endangerment.

The vast majority do work well. I suspect the latest outbreaks of measles and whooping cough are due to some not vaccinating their children but also the influx of unvaccinated illegal immigrant children.
