even this chart attributes FY2009's deficit to Bush, when in fact the final spending bills for that fiscal year were signed by Obama months after Bush left office and including the near trillion dollar 'stimulus' package of pet pork.

it is outright dishonest to attribute all of that deficit to Bush when the senate neither passed his budget nor did Bush sign what they did pass but you can't credit Obama with deficit reduction otherwise
