No, he was complaining about the unfairness of a bitter ex creating legal problems. The accusation of an affair with the congressional staffer has no evidence at all.

Hill denies the second affair, which is the only one that’s unethical. There isn’t (yet) any evidence for it. There might eventually be! But I’m withholding judgment.

Well, 1) I think one affair makes another more likely to be true & 2) if Gaetz wanted to offer a stringent view of committee jurisdiction, that's one thing. His instinct to attack the messenger & play "who among us" when it doesn't even benefit his side is what got me.
