Also imagine in more banal way how the media would cover it if a Democrat who barely won started going negative on swing voters...https://twitter.com/jaynordlinger/status/1187083497355264000 …

Also interested in hearing from the Twitter-servatives who have been saying nominating a candidate who supports Medicare for All and creative taxes for multimillionaires is *forcing* NTers to vote for the guy who literally calls them scum

Well, I haven' decided what I'm doing yet, but a vote is a serious choice. The question in the end is how much irrevocable damage you want to deliberately inflict on innocent people, the country, and its system of government because a guy insulted you.

Ya, I’m sure you can believe ppl like me already gobsmacked at idea reelecting Trump=protecting US from “irrevocable damage deliberately inflicted on innocent people, country, and its system of government.” Trump calling people who believe this “scum on life support” adds to it..

I mean obviously part of it is the tone is always, “don’t do this one thing...this is the insult that will finally make us turn to Trump” and he’s out there calling you scum

The problem is that Warren is proposing to do permanent harm, on purpose, to how the country is governed. Trump is not. I voted McMullin last time. He's making it harder to do different this time. But in the end, the decision is my own assessment. I already know what he is.

Yeah, I mean tbh it makes it harder to take seriously certain arguments about how “gettable” people are when there seems to be basically no line Trump could cross, outside of (I’m genuinely not sure what you think warren will do that is permanently damaging).

Tom Nichols is gettable for Dems. Bill Kristol is. I'm not. The question is whether I protest vote or not.
